Reminder, April 23rd is the Scott Carlson ALS 5K in Warwick, RI if you want to meet me for a quick jaunt before you load up on Easter dinner.
May 7th I'll be running the South Boston Marine Corps Honor Run to honor kids who've lost a parent in the military or state police service.
In addition I just got word today that I was chosen in the Harpoon "raffle" to run their 5 MILER on May 22nd. So there's some serious training to be done this month and next to get myself ready for all of that.
June, July and August races are still to be determined, I don't have anything in mind yet so if you know of a fun run let me know, I'd love to do it with you!
And now .... drum roll please badadadadadadadaadaadaa: SEPTEMBER 5K HAS BEEN DECIDED and it's a doozy! I will be participating in the Rugged Maniac 5K in Southwick, MA on September 24th along side a handful of brave friends. The Rugged Maniac is a 5K obstacle course designed with help from the Navy Seals. It involves cargo nets, climbing walls, mud pits, water traps, tunnels, fire oh yah and there's some running mixed in. It will be a true test of willpower and I am super excited about it! Check it out if you'd like to join us crazies: http://www.ruggedmaniac.com/southwick-ma.html
This was last year's course if you want a peek at what I may be in store for ...

So feel free to join, if you sign up before April 22nd its $58 and there is a sweet party involved all day after your finish. We are the 10am time frame and if you use code 1913244 when you sign up we each get $2 off our reg fee so do it!
And don't forget to head to the website this month and donate to the Richard W. Hudson Sr. Memorial Fund benefiting ALS. The link to the fund page is found on the right of this page! Help me hit $1200 raised this month!
Check back mid April for training update and the April 23 playlist for your listening pleasure.
Hi Molly!
